About Us
Our Story
Every great invention starts with a problem. For the O'Donnell family, it was a simple but maddening one: screws. Specifically, the endless fumbling through tins, bags, and jars trying to find the right one mid-project.
During the COVID-19 lockdown, Jamie O'Donnell and his Mum put their heads together and decided to do something about it. What started as a kitchen-table idea became Screw Caddy – a smarter, simpler way to store and access screws while you work.
From the Living Room to Dragons' Den
The O'Donnell family believed in Screw Caddy from day one – and so did one of the UK's most respected investors. In Series 23, Episode 7 of Dragons' Den, Jamie pitched Screw Caddy to the Dragons and walked away with a life-changing deal: Deborah Meaden invested £50,000 for a 30% stake in the business.
Deborah's backing wasn't just financial – it was a validation of everything the family had worked towards. It put Screw Caddy on the map and opened doors to a whole new chapter for the business.
Patented Innovation
Screw Caddy isn't just a clever idea – it's a protected one. We hold UK Patent GB2621166B, recognising the originality and ingenuity behind our design. When you buy a Screw Caddy, you're buying something genuinely unique: a product that no one else can replicate.
